Overview

Structure T30 of San Bernabe stands to the southwest of Structure T31, the mission church. This platform had significant use during the Late Preclassic, Terminal Classic, and Postclassic-Colonial period. During the Late Preclassic period, it included a circular platform surrounded by a thick plaster floor. It was later covered by fill and then revisited during the Late to Terminal Classic period. At this time, two burials and a cache were placed near the circular platform. In addition, a large disturbance occurred on the western edge of the building.  During the Postclassic-Colonial period, a rectangular building, which we believe was a residence, was constructed southeast of the circular building. The platform include large amounts of Colonial period refuse.
