Overview
Sector BB contains a Triadic Group complex that includes the tallest building (ca. 28 m) at Nixtun-Ch’ich’ (Structure BB 1/1-1). Excavations revealed that the Triadic Group covers an earlier Late Preclassic period temple which in turn covered Middle Preclassic period antecedents.
